I got this message
I have the same error but it has nothing to do with LP or this method.
I also get it when trying to legally buy stickers. It's possible that whoever uses LP or Freedom in Viber gets his Google Play account banned (only on Viber) so he can't buy stickers any more...
The only solution is to revert back to an older version (4.2.1.1 works for me), buy the stickers using Freedom, and then update to latest version. You have to uninstall latest version first because you can't install the old one "on top" of it.
If you don't wanna lose chat history, conversations etc, you can do this:
1) Backup data&app with Titanium Backup
2) Uninstall latest Viber app
3) Install version 4.2.1.1
- DO NOT OPEN VIBER (YET!) (if you do it will prompt you to verify your number and you may lose chat history)
4) Open Titanium Backup and restore Viber DATA ONLY
5) Open Viber. It should open without asking for a verification code and with all conversations there.
6) Use LP or Freedom to buy your stickers. The first time you click on "buy" it will say the purchase failed, but when you click "buy" again it will start to download the sticker pack.
7) Close Freedom and update app from Play Store
I do the same every time there's a new sticker pack I want. I'll probably make a guide with photos soon.
Voila!

So far this method will work with any and all updates Viber has released. fortunately some Sony phones I have come across, lucky patcher's purchase emulation wont run. It's either the phones problem or the apps. I'll check on that and post later.

You don't need Root to just run and emulate purchase with luckypatcher. Root is needed for the more in depth functions that require editing of system files.
