Anyone using or modding syncler?
https://syncler.net
Seems to be like some kind of streaming app that has ads or subscription but with addons/repos like kodi.
Strangely never heard of it until now although it's been around for 2 years!
Don't download the installer app from play store or site.
Dowloaded installer app from https://github.com/SynclerScrapers/repository.synclerscrapers/ and carefully read and follow instructions there.
That is as far as I've got, Might need a thread on this one day.

I think I've made a request before to have it patched and the request was deleted because it's a 'protected' app which the admin team has determined cannot be posted here. I'm just going off of memory, so my details may be a bit off, but that's why you won't find it on here iirc.

That is very much NOT what I've heard about the comparison between the two, and I can tell you that's not the opinion of the reddit community who focuses on this stuff. The darlings are currently Syncler, weyd, Stremio, Kodi + FEN, and Kodi + Umbrella. There are of course other's still using stuff like Cinema HD (apparently that developer just returned,) or using stuff like TeaTV or BeeTV (kinda mind boggling given the other options available.) Plex shares, Emby shares, etc are all getting pretty big too.

Cloudstream doesn't seem to get mentioned very much, and when it does there are a lot of ppl who've had issues with it, it seems. Oh, and they got DCMAed and now all the useful extensions are gone for good, so it's officially dead at this point.
