Overview: Gene Day's Star Wars portfolio was published by Dave Sim's company, Aardvark-Vanaheim, in 1977. It included 10 black and white prints inspired by the movie.
When permission to do the portfolio was denied by Lucasfilms, all copies of the portfolio were destroyed except for Gene Day's personal copies which are in the possession of his estate and were later leaked online.
