Im looking for a easy way to schedule a directory to be zipped up every week as a back up.
More options the better.

No i don't wish to use tasker or other automation apps.
Is there a simple archiver that supports scheduling?

I think you can only do it via third party app, if tasker isnt your choice, my best bet is... programming your own automation app, shouldn`t be that hard for such task.

there are script apps and one or two cron apps. its not a easy way to do it.
i could likely do it easier in linux command line then android.

if nothing else is found ill do it that way.
