Overview: Spare Change is a fictional story of about a gang leader (Jermaine Beasley) who was raised in poverty and with a subpar education. While attending his local community college Jermaine discovers a passion for economics after befriending a dedicated teacher (Professor Bruce Wright) on the subject. This passion not only leads to him regaining a love for education and doing better in his current classes, but also sparks him to leading a charge for business ownership in poor communities, after discovering how resources leaving the area were depleting the community's value.
